Greendale is home. Our yard is at 17 Huxham Road, which makes Greendale the shortest run we do, and usually the quickest water we can put on the ground.
Our depot is in this suburb — 17 Huxham Road, Greendale.
Most bulk water in Harare arrives from somewhere else. In Greendale it does not. DM Bulk Water operates out of 17 Huxham Road, so a delivery to a Greendale address is a short local run rather than a cross-city trip through Samora Machel or Enterprise Road traffic.
That matters most at the times water is hardest to find: late evening, weekends, and the stretches when municipal supply has been off for days and every supplier in the city is busy. We are already in the suburb.
Greendale is an established low-density suburb of large stands, mature gardens and older plumbing. Properties here typically hold a 2,500L or 5,000L storage tank, and many run a borehole that either yields poorly in the dry season or was never the primary supply.
The regular orders we see are household tank refills, garden watering through the dry months, top-ups for cottages and lodgers on the same stand, and pool water for properties along the quieter roads off Greendale Avenue.
Greendale stands are generous, and access is rarely the problem it is in newer cluster developments. The two things worth checking before we arrive are gate width for a rigid tanker, and whether the driveway loops or needs a reverse to reach the tank.
If your tank sits behind the house or at the back of a long stand, tell us when you order. We carry delivery hose and can usually reach a tank set well back from where the truck can stand.
